The room was very clean with a private bathroom, an electric kettle, and glassware, and the location was amazing, right by the ocean and surrounded by jungle sounds everywhere.

the room was exceptionally nice and had an astonishing view over the sea and island. all the staff was amicable and top-class, resolved my issues.

The venue was set in the remote position just next door to beautiful nature, and the rainforest and very much part of nature. I was given superior bungalow with a mini-fridge-bar, a seating area, and an electric kettle. The employees were helpful.

The bathroom was cold, I didn't like it.

The staff here were excellent and friendly; the hotel is located a short walk away from the stunning island beaches, with Praia do Recanto only 800 feet away.

Wifi was unreliable.

I had an amazing stay at Jungle Lodge surrounded by lush plants and immersed in the beauty of the jungle. The lodge has a charming and natural feel to it, with wooden carvings and hammocks adding to the atmosphere. I loved the real jungle experience, hearing the sounds of wildlife throughout the day. The location is perfect for avid hikers, as it is well placed for exploring the most beautiful island beaches. Carole and Victor, the owners, are the sweetest couple and went above and beyond to make my stay special. They were caring and warm-hearted, making me feel right at home. The lodge is clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast provided was excellent. I highly recommend this unique and beautiful gem in the jungle.

I stayed at Jungle Lodge for three nights and loved it. Carole, Victor, and Manu made us feel at home immediately. The lodge is beautifully decorated with wooden carvings and has a natural, jungle feel. The walk to the lodge is a great little hike through the jungle. It's well-placed for hiking to the island's most beautiful beaches. This is an experience not to be missed!

From the lodge, guests can embark on breathtaking hikes to stunning secluded beaches and explore the mesmerizing beauty of the surrounding forest. the rooms offer a cozy and comfortable space, with a peaceful ambiance that lets you connect with nature. the friendly and welcoming staff ensure a pleasant stay, and the delicious organic breakfast is a great way to start the day.

There have been some reports of occasional noise disturbances during the night from nearby parties, but it seems to be a rare occurrence.

Had an amazing Christmas stay at a magical hideaway in the jungle. Loved being away from the hustle and bustle of the city center and being able to relax and enjoy the tranquility of nature. The sound of the jungle was absolutely mesmerizing and made for a truly unique experience. Plus, the view of the sea from the bed was breathtaking! Another great aspect was the host, Victor. He was extremely knowledgeable about the island and gave us fantastic tips on things to see and do. His delicious breakfast every morning was the cherry on top. And to top it all off, we adored the two friendly dogs that greeted us with wagging tails every day.

Not recommended for couples or those seeking privacy, as the cabins have thin walls and shared bathrooms. The trail leading to the lodge was a bit challenging, especially if it had rained and became muddy.

The hotel is beautiful, immersed in nature. The staff is amazing, welcoming and caring. Dinner and breakfast were tasty. The jungle lodge offers a unique experience with stunning views. The trek to the lodge is part of the adventure. Nice rooms, great breakfast, lovely hosts.

Located up a hill in the jungle, perfect for nature lovers. Delicious fish BBQ and caipirinhas available. Tasty breakfast and friendly staff. Great views and feels like a jungle retreat.

We got great value for our money at Jungle Lodge. The room was comfortable and charming, with a lovely wake-up call from the sounds of birds and wind through the trees. The location was perfect, nestled up on a hill with a beautiful view of the ocean and just a 20 minute walk from the main town. The staff were super friendly and gave us great tips for exploring the island.
